serrated Fox Ear arrowhead, thoroughly who recovered this one
flaked on both faces and having nice in the Alvord Desert in
caliche and mineral deposits on side A Harney Co., OR

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
SLFW4 A gorgeous snow-white agate Elko dart point Recovered in 400.00
having thorough flaking patterns to both faces. It Owyhee Co., ID
has a slight spider bite to one tang and an
interesting impact fracture which looks like a
reverse-flute, travelling down the face of side B
for a length of 13/16" (Photo 6) and a much
shorter impact fracture to the face of side A
having a length of 1/4". It's interesting to note
that the dual impact fracture is isolated only to
the surfaces of each face and almost left the form
of the tip totally intact. This one's a real beauty

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
SLFW5 A nice Northern Side-notched Fox Ear Found by the seller in 250.00
obsidian arrowhead, fairly thin with Owhyee Co., ID
thorough flaking patterns on both faces

arrowhead having very thorough and intricate Owhyee Co., ID
flaking patterns to both faces and just a great
overall classic form. It's "almost" perfect with
the exception of a small ancient dip to one edge
at the centerline, which appears to have been
caused by an overly aggressive pressure flake.

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
TPGB22 A beautifully made semi-translucent smoky   Lake Co., OR 140.00

gray and black obsidian Cascade leaf knife

Full history
showing superior ribbon flaking patterns on to buyer
both sides. This is a most striking and
classy piece, side B's flaking is better than
side A's and side A has a ledge (steeper
than a hinge) fracture, vertically oriented in
the center of the blade near the tip. Still a
VERY outstanding piece !

Item: Type: Provenance: Price

TPGB26 A fairly thin and crudely made black Lake Co., OR 45.00

basalt Archaic Big Valley Stemmed

dart point. This material is impossible to buyer
to work, and from the thinness of this
item, I can definitely say that the
knapper was an experienced and
determined artisan.

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
TPGB34 A most interesting smoky gray and black obsidian Lake Co., OR 75.00

Archaic Humboldt Triangular blade made on a

Full history
flake with 35% of the original flake's surface to buyer
showing vertically down the centerline of side B,
making it "appear" like a flute. Side A has a short
pressure flaked flute (3/8") to facilitate hafting.
Pressure flaking is thorough but somewhat random
and is intermediate in quality. There is a slight stack
at the centerline and slightly to the left of center on
side A. Additionally the tip has a spider bite to it.

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
TPGB45 A very well made and thoroughly  Lake Co., OR 30.00

the stems was anciently snapped off. The
edges both show nice, small serrations
accomplished by an advanced knapper

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
SLFW8 An opaque black obsidian Elko Eared Offered by the finder 100.00
arrowhead made on a flake and retaining 40% who recovered this one
of the original flake's surface in the center of  in the Alvord Desert in
side B although the cutting edges are thoroughly Harney Co., OR
worked on this side. It has a slight curvature
from the form of the original flake. Side A is
thoroughly flaked, and it exhibits nice serrated
edgework. One tang was anciently snapped off.

Item: Type: Provenance: Price
